A little bit of Wisdom.

After hearing some Wisdom yesterday I've decided to really study some things for myself. Yesterday at Church our pastor challenged us to really and truly understand God's grace. I think that's big homework. I "know" about God's grace but in actuality what do I really know? Do I understand what His grace means to me? I have to say my head [only partially] understands and my heart sure does hope I understand. God's grace is such a huge concept and so unlike anything that we experience anywhere else. So this week I'm setting out to begin to truly and honestly understand God's grace. I feel like I'm making a big step. Like this is the part in the movie of my life that I'll look back on fondly. Here's to hoping.

P.S.- Check out the podcast(s) here.

Weekend.

This weekend I spend most of my days being a little bit lazy. I had a ton of homework to do so [of course] instead I spend quite a bit of time being lazy and simply relaxing. I need to remind myself to do that more often, it was lovely.

I also got the chance to hangout with some wonderful Ladies at our Women's Retreat this weekend. It was wonderful. Jesus, pinterest crafts, dance parties and snacks what more could a girl ask for really?

Senior Girls.

Our craft table.

"Don't be like the rest of them, darling." idea via pinterest.

"Love Always." canvas I made.

After our lovely Women's Retreat I got to attend a.... wait for it: Quidditch Match. Quidditch as in Harry Potter. One of the girls I work with is on our school team so we went to support her in the tournament.

Swamp Cup.

They had real hoops.

We played our own little game.

We're obviously fantastic at it.

Official fields.

This shirtless man was the snitch. And the "snitch" part was his tail looking thing. I die.

First Place trophy.

Second Place Trophy.

Official Quidditch Sign, you can't beat that.
Made out of duct tape and all.

After this lovely sporting event some friends got together to cheer on our Gators in the Elite 8 Game!

Unfortunately we didn't quite pull through. It was a little bit sad if we're being honest. In all kinds of weather, Go Gators! But it was fun to watch the game together :)

Overall a good [although not productive] weekend. But I have to say, is it summer yet?

Here's to good weekend's all around!

A little bit awkward, a little bit awesome.

So it's Friday but this week has been nice and awkwardly awesome. I figure we can just add to the awkward by posting awkward and awesome Thursday on Friday, right?

Awkward's:
1. The phrase, "We need to talk." It doesn't matter when or how but this phrase is just always awkward.
2. Outfit pictures. Holey Cow. I know that every fashion blogger ever probably has commented on how awkward they can be but seriously folks! I felt so silly doing them!

Awesome's:
1. My first guest and outfit post all in one! [Check it out here.]
2. Best friend's who lovingly offer to take awkward outfit photos for you. Thanks for that. They were awesome and you made me giggle through the whole thing. I'm so lucky!
3. Momma winning tickets to an NBA game. So fancy! And so excited for her! Wooo!
4. Days off where you lay around and read books, being lazy allllll day. Absolute perfection!
5. The little blogging community. I just am so thankful I started this little babe last year. Lovelovelove.
6. A lovely weekend full of relaxing plans with some of my favorite senior girls :)

8. New songs! Carrie Underwood's Good Girl- check. it .out.

Hope you're Friday is spectacularly awkward and awesome.
