Wish I were here Wednesday.

Wishing I were here. On an adventure. Sailing where ever the wind may take me. Soon enough. At least I get to celebrate Friday today, Hooray! Dear God, thank you for short weeks, I love them. And Birthday's. I love other people's birthday week. Seriously my favorite. Anddd it's Hump Day! Dear Wednesday, I love you.

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." -John 13:34-35

Hope your Wednesday is wonderful.

Be Awesome.

"When you wake up in the morning you have to make a decision, be awesome or don’t be awesome. Both are your choice, both require the same amount energy/effort, and both will impact another person. You choose what sort of impact that will be. You choose your attitude!"
Be awesome. Happy Hump Day!

Wish I were here Wednesday.

This morning I had my class cancelled. Hoorah! for sleeping in til 9 in the middle of the week. Wish I could just stay here all morning and all day :)

But also wishing I was sitting on this porch. With a cup of tea and a seriously good book. Yum.

Beach, Beach, Beach.

"Hope is a zany, unpredictable dependence on a God who loves to surprise us out of our socks and be there in the flesh to see our reaction."

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

Humpday.

For real today has been such a hump day. I need to breathe, recoup, focus and pray. Good news is its the middle of the week.

If I have a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the explanation is - I was made for another world." - C.S Lewis

Happy Hump Day.

It's a Happy Hump Day Today!

Today is Wednesday, which in the real world means that its only the middle of the week but in my current college world that means that I only have ONE three hour class between me andddd spring break! yippee!! I could not be more excited. This past few weeks has been crazy. I'm ready for some relaxation! I hope everyone else is having an equally wonderful hump day! I know it can be crazy [trust. me] and I just want to encourage you with a little love:

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have

peace.

In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have

overcome the world.” - John 16:33

How encouraging is it that we don't have to fret so much? {Or at least try not too.}

Happy Wednesday Everyone :)

A little thing called life.

Hello all!

I'm so sorry I've been away so much recently. Life has just really become crazy. Like for-reals. Craziness I tell you! I'll hopefully be posting and updating with real life very soon! Only the rest of the day to get through. 3 more hours. 3 more hours. 3 more hours. 3 more hours. I'm not counting down until I get a nap or anything... ha! ;)

"Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." - Romans 5:3-4

And a little song that has been on my mind and heart recently. Talk about giving me hope and perspective in one.

Happy Hump-Day lovelies!

Weekend.

This lovely weekend folks i did {insert drumroll here} nothing. Yep that's right. You heard it here first I am a real live college student who's entire goal this weekend was to do nothing. This was helped along by the fact that I had to stay in for my job but none the less, it was delightful. I did absolutely nothing {that includes minimal homework, oops!}, watched part of Inception, handled a flood, worked on a group project, built a model, and did not changing out of my PJ's. Awesomeness I tell you! That kind of weekend should be mandatory for everyone at least once a month. Buttt moving on...

Doing absolutely nothing {or at the least very little} this weekend totally has come back to bite me in the bum. I feel like I've been working like a mad woman these past 2 days in order to catch up! Too much I tell you! All I can say is I am looking forward to the weekend... And maybe some best friend time?!

Happy Tuesday Everyone! :)

Late Late Late

Soooo sorry that I haven't been around in a while. It's been crazy. For real. Cr-ah-zy. Spaced out just like that. I haven't been so overly tense in a while BUTTT the good news is it's over for now! Yippeee! And sidenote: I'd been trying to post my previous post for dayssss but it wouldn't upload too anything. Eww. Oh well it finally did. I'll be more descriptive about my life tomorrow (or really later today) when it isn't nearly 2 in the A.M. and when I don't have to be up innnn oh about 5 hours. Woo hoo. Sooo here's a lovely hump day quote to get us through it:

Anyone God uses significantly is always deeply wounded... We are, each and every one of us, insignificant people who God has called and graced to use in a significant way... On the last day, Jesus will look us over not for medals, diplomas, or honors, but for scars." -Brennan Manning in Ruthless Trust

Hope you're all having an awesome week! :)

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

Here's a Hump Day quote for the middle of your week:

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.
- Helen Keller

Happy Hump Day everyone! :)
